Dr. Alban adında (Nijerya asıllı) İsveçli bir diş doktoru, 1990'ların başında "Hello Africa", "Sing Hallelujah" ve aşağıda klibini bulabileceğiniz "No Coke" isimli şarkılarıyla Avrupa müzik piyasasını tam anlamıyla yerle bir etmişti. Özellikle ortaokul 3. sınıfta tanıştığım bu sonuncusu, üzerinden geçen 18 yıla rağmen hâlâ etkileyici bir beste, ezgi ve düzenlemeye sahip. Hele şarkının alamet-i farikası olan o bas melodisi tek kelimeyle eşsiz. Ayrıca sözleri de uyuşturucuya karşı duyarlı ama basit olmayan, saygıdeğer cümleler içeriyor. Internette tesadüfen denk geldiğim (hiç de iyi denemeyecek) bu videoyu paylaşarak o günleri yad etmek istedim.
